SUPERSTITIONS
I FOUND THIS ARTICLE IN THE BBC's WEBSITE AND THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE INTERESTING FOR YOU.

Superstitions: Friday 13th - unlucky for you?
Are you superstitious? Do you believe in good luck and bad luck? And, if so, how do you go about avoiding bad and promoting good luck?
One person in four in Britain is, apparently, superstitious, and they'll do everything from hanging horseshoes over their fireplace to crossing their fingers, touching wood and absolutely never walking under a ladder. And they're careful about cats.
Black cats are supposed to be the familiars of witches or warlocks, so if one is following you it's definitely bad luck - a witch is after you!. On the other hand, if one crosses your path and continues then it's good luck because it hasn't noticed you. However, in some places the beliefs are different - so it pays to know where your black cat comes from!
Old superstitions linger even in today's modern world.
SO, ARE YOU SUPERSTITIOUS?
I must confess I always cross my fingers whenever my plane is taking off or landing. Don't ask me why but it's something unconscious. On the other hand, I don't mind seeing a black cat or walking under a ladder.

My dearest Anneta,
How many times did you post your comment? I think one is enough, don't you think so? :D
I got it right away that you aren't superstitious. So that's it: clear and consise! :P
You're a good girl if you're studying hard for your Social Science's test. I'm sure it's not SHIT what you meant but SHEET because you're really tired and at that moment you were thinking of going to bed and have sweet dreams sleeping between your BED SHEETS. ;-)
I hope you enjoy this weekend activities very much. I can imagin you're willing to have lots of fun in Port Aventura and in Salou. So enjoy yourselves but take care.
I'm looking forward to hearing all the weekend anecdotes next MONDAY (TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY).
Sorry, it's just a quick revision on the days of the week! You should study them (they may appear in the next test!!!).
See you tomorrow,
R.

Hi Anna,
Thanks for your comments. They are really interesting.
I also heard about that urban legend and I really think twice before I make a light crossing with another car now.
But do you really think this superstitions really work or are they a cultural creation that affects our behaviour? I'll let you think about it.
Of Course I'm going to look for the "Oratòria" results. Don't worry, I'll tell you as soon as I know them. KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED & KNOCK ON WOOD! :P
