BANK HOLIDAY
1st MAY BANK HOLIDAY
As you all know, there’s a Bank Holiday next weekend. Can anybody tell me the origin of this name used for what we call “pont” in Catalan? Come on, use your brains and make a guess.
Are you doing anything interesting during this Bank Holiday? I may go to Valencia and visit some good friends who hosted Lala’s brother for two summers. They recently had a baby called Pau and I’m very excited to meet him. I may go to the beach as well if the weather is good. I love the beach this time of the year because it isn’t too hot and sticky and there isn’t much people yet. I hardly ever go to the beach in the summer, so I take advantage of going in spring and autumn.
I heard some rumours of you going to visit a medieval market. Will you also watch the performance for Saint George’s legend? Will you tell me about it? I know very little of this tradition in Montblanc, about the scenery, the performance and the other activities carried out this week.
Come on, tell me about it.
Hoping to hearing from you very soon,
R.

Hey Albert,
Lucky eyes those that see you around this blog!!! :D Now, it's only your dearest friend JMa the "MISSING ONE"!
I thought you went to Reus to do some sport, not some shopping. I hope you didn't spend too much.
Well, what do you think about the blog and the new way of doing a bit of writing? Will you tell me your impressions or anything else you really want to tell us about?
And please, don't do anything else while you talk to your girlfriend on the phone! Your last sentences suffered form your lack of concentration :P
Well, I hope to hear from you very soon in the blog again.
Take care,
R.

Dearest Anna H,
I’m so glad you are taking part in this new experience as well. It’s a pitty you aren’t in the CV because I’m sure your texts and comments would be really interesting and productive. Anyway, I’m sure that you’re enjoying any other CV you’re taking. And of course, you’re very welcome to share anything you like with us and add any comment you wish: “The more, the better”, don’t you think?
I’m definitely going to have a look at your own blog, you can count on it! I bet it’s far more interesting than mine! You, students, seem to have been born with a computer under your arm, not a loaf of bread (as we usually say in Catalan). ;-)
And last but not least, let’s cross our fingers and knock on wood while waiting for the Oratoria Contest results. I wish you were one of the fortunate ones.
Take care and see you on Tuesday.

Hey Anna H,
I saw your comment last night but i was so sleepy that I didn't have the strength to answer. So I went to bed. That's why I'm here now.
With regards to the Oratoria contest, don't lose the faith. You did very well.
By the way, congratulations about the beautiful bunch of flowers you got yesterday. ;-) HE must be very special for you, am I right?
Well, take care and see you.

Dear Anna,
don't you know that teachers, like parents and the 3 Wise Men, know everything? :P So the "mysterious bird" will remain anonymous for a while...
By the way, thnks a million for giving Gemma a hand. It's fantastic to have a friend close to you whenever you need her (or him_ let's be politically correct!).
Take care Anna.
See you tomorrow.

I can’t believe it Jordina! I was reading your new comment and it was as if I could hear your own voice and your peculiar intonation telling me about your bank holiday. You’re very “authentic”!
I’m afraid English speakers will revise their dictionaries if they ever read your comments because, I don’t know how you do it, but you invent a lot of new words!!!! :P But all in all, it’s very funny…
By the way, don’t you think your French is interfering with your English? Is “lundy” supposed to be MONDAY?!? Or is it me who isn’t very in? I never know with your special jargon… :D
With regards to Barça, I gues it was only you and me the ones who weren’t in front of TV. But Anna H has just informed about the good news for the football fans.
Anyway, thanks for your “rollassu”, I found it very interesting.
And now, sleep well.

Welcome to the blog Vicky.
Don’t you worry a single bit about the delay. It can be sometimes annoying to fight against “these machines”. I never doubted about your will to take part in the blog. I know you’re responsible enough. So now, just enjoy it!
Apart from that, tell Júlia not to patronise the computer so much. If she doesn’t listen to you, I might have a word with her... ;-)
By the way, are you practicing the relaxation exercices? You shouldn’t worry so much about exams and projects. Everything is going to work perfectly well. So, relax and take it easy!
Don’t hesitate to ask for anything you need.
Take care,
R.
