APRIL FOOL’S DAY or LE POISSON D’AVRIL

As I can see, you had a very boring trip to Paris. Why? Because no one has any interesting anecdote to tell us. Being it so, let me tell you something that happened to some friends of mine who travelled to Paris the same weekend as you.

On Saturday, 1st April, they got up very early and headed towards the Eiffel Tower with the intention of climbing to the top and see the city’s panoramic view. When they got there, before 9 am, they were really surprised because there was nobody queuing for the lifts and they thought they would be the first ones. However, they had previously seen lots of balloons in a fish-shape flying in the parks surrounding the Tower. So they were a bit shocked because of such a bizarre decoration.
A bit deceived, they read the signs saying that “Due to some repairing task, the Tower would not be opened until Sunday, 2nd April” and they headed to another tourist site in Paris: Notre Dame.
Once there, they realised that a woman had a paper fish stuck on her back.
Then, it suddenly came to my friend’s mind: “It can’t be true! It’s April Fool’s day today! Le Poisson d’Avril!” . It was just then when they became aware they had been fooled, even if they had seen the balloons flying around the Tower. ;-) Can't you see them flying at the bottom of the tower? Those yellow little creatures!!!
So the moral of this story is “think twice when you see a flying fish”! :D

Comments:
Hi Laia S, Crys and Jordina. You’re being very naughty, you know? Don’t you think you should be doing Maths during a Maths lesson? I can imagine you were BORED, because you so often feel like that but I don’t find it any funny to be surfing the net while you’re supposed to pay attention to the teacher. Well, it’s up to you if you want to make the most of the lessons or not. I think you’re old enough to tell the difference form what’s right and what’s wrong.
Apart from that, Jordina you’re very welcome to make any comments you like in the blog. I told the same to Anna H. So even if you don’t take part in the CV, the comments you can share with us are definitely going to be very enriching! Thanks a million for your collaboration! :D
RAQUEL (or RACHEL, if you want it in English; ‘Cause you’ve called me anything but my name) ;-)

You're finally with us Gemma!!! :D
I know these new technologies can be a bit annoying sometimes. We aren't usually on very good terms with my computer either. However, I'm glad you found Anna's help and you can join us from now on.
I'm sure your next entrance will be LONGER! And i hope your FRENCH PROJECT ends up successfully! ;-)
Well, see you tomorrow first thing in the morning.
Love,
R.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I FINALLY saw your comment in the blog!!! This is going to be a memorable day!!!! :D
It’s very strange that you didn’t receive my mail. It’s very unusual. Or is it one of your naughty tricks?
You’re impressing me because you’re studying while Barça is playing! Or is it just a go to pull my leg again? Well, you better study because the end of the year is near and all effort will have its reward.
See you tomorrow and be ready for the test.
R.

Anna,
It’s unbelievable! All this noise in the streets!!! People are out of their minds. And all this because Barça has won… At this very moment lots of cars are blowing their horns in my street and making a terrible noise! It’s understandable however. I congratulate all the Barça fans because today is a day to remember. But I’d also ask them to let me rest because I’m going to fall asleep any minute.
So good night.
R.
